A setting of the Preces and Responses.
The versicles (sung by priest or cantor) and the unaccompanied choral responses, are set according to the orders of service for Morning and Evening Prayer (Matins and Evensong) in the Book of Common Prayer of the Church of England (1662). Consequently the Lord's Prayer as set here does not contain the final doxology ("For thine is the kindgom...").
