A rhythmic dialogue between the Drum Set and each of the instruments of the Jazz Dectet (so called "Little Big Band" 3-2-1-4). The band sings and solos in 3/4 while the drums response is sometimes in 3/4 and sometimes in 4/4. The singing major refrain of "Three To Get Ready" written by Mr Brubeck mixed with the minor french Java dancing verse of Mr Datin results in a beautiful mariage of a dancing strong melody called "Le Jazz Et La Java" made famous Mr Claude Nougaro.
