Kallenbach was an early 20th Century evangelist, writer, and musician from Massachusets. This was originally a childrens song. Sections A and C are the verse. Sections B and D are the chorus which returns to the verse theme. A modulation to a new key occurs and the end of section B with the help of a French augmented sixth chord. A descant by yours truly is then added.
