Product Description

"Arise, Shine, for thy Light has Come" is a setting of a well-known text from Isaiah 60, popularly read and sung during the Christmas season, perhaps most famously in part one of Handel's "Messiah". Ranging from ponderous to rousing and triumphant and back again, this piece strives to demonstrate the stark contrast between light and darkness. Great for holiday choral programs and service music for more advanced church choirs, this work was written for, and first performed by the Lompoc High School A Cappella Choir in 2003.

Voicing: SATB, a cappella
