Wedding Day at Troldhaugen is the 6th piece in the Lyric Pieces, Book 8, Op. 65, published in 1897. The original title of this piece was The Well-Wishers Are Coming and it was written for his 25th wedding anniversary to his wife, Nina. Troldhaugen was their home in Bergen, Griegs home town, and it is now a part of the Edvard Grieg Museum.

The complete instrumentation is best for this transcription; however, it can be performed with as few as 13 players. This transcription is also suitable for a medium sized, or even large band.

This publication is for small concert band with full score (pp. 126), piccolopercussion (pp. 2775), and transposed parts (pp. 76110).
