This arrangement for vocalist and big band is written in the key of Bb major and is loosely based on a version of the song recorded by Billie Holiday in 1937. The brass are written in moderate ranges (1st Trumpet requires D6 at the end) and solo space is provided for 2nd Trumpet, 1st Trombone, Piano, and 1st Tenor Sax.
