Product Description

The score is for Ukulele solo, Low-G and fingerstyle arrangement.

The original song is written in Russian and was written around 1910-1920. It is a song set in the style of gypsy music, and it seems that immersed in sentimentality and nostalgia for old memories.
However, in the Soviet Union at the time, it was considered "counter-revolutionary" and its performance was prohibited, but it was secretly handed down. In the late 1960s, it was arranged by American singer Gene Ruskin and became a great hit under the title of the English version "Those were the Days."
