I wrote this sea shanty for our tenor bass choir, which had shrunk to only 10 men. Most of them were beginners, so it needed to be accessible. They had a lot of fun with this, and I think you will, too! There are plenty of opportunities to ham it up, which ended up being a real crowd pleaser. And you have my permission to adjust the lyrics slightly to fit the actual size of your choir (only a few words would need to be changed to rhyme with the new number). Overall, it's a quick and easy piece to learn and a whole lot of fun for everyone!
