This is a beautiful hymn with a great story behind it. It is arranged here for Classical Guitar first in the key of C and then repeated in D.

The arrangement mostly makes use of descending arpeggios which I call a backwards roll; a term borrowed from banjo players.  It makes for an interesting and different kind of arrangement similar to the popular classical tune "Romanza."
