Product Description

Scored for two Violins, Viola and Violoncello, there is an optional part for Contrabass so it can be played by a String Orchestra. There is also an alternative Violin 3 part if there is no Viola. PREMIER QUARTET as the title suggests is the first wind quartet by the composer.  The quartet is based on the opening six notes which are restated in various guises throughout the three movements.   The instrumental ranges are comfortable with some interesting solo and rhythmic challenges to excite enthusiastic young musicians.
