Product Description

Campbell's Farewell to Red Gap is a folk tune probably originating in the British Isles that is often played by old-time and Irish fiddlers in the U.S. This arrangement is for an Intermediate String Trio (two violins and a cello.) It starts with an imitation of bagpipes, then the melody is taken up by the violins. The players have fun as they pass the melodies among themselves.  Separate sheets are provided for each instrument in addition to the score. Other similar arrangements for string trio by McIntire include Flowers of Edinburgh, Ash Grove and Arkansas Traveler, all available at this web site.
