Product Description

One of the most renowned Brazilian composers of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Alberto Nepomuceno (1864-1920) was director of the National Music Institute, currently the UFRJ School of Music. His background was European and he represents impressionism in the Americas. Ave Maria, in E minor, was composed in 1911, has a split form, conventional tonal harmonic structure, 3/4 measure, originally for soprano or mezzo-soprano and organ. This transcription also makes it possible to perform with a voice or a solo instrument, and maintains lyricism and beauty, adding a new color.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
