"Quinn The Eskimo" was adapted as "The Mighty Quinn" to be an integral part of the 1989 motion picture The Mighty Quinn starring Denzel Washington and Sheryl Lee Ralph. It is sung in the movie by Sheryl Lee Ralph, Cedella Marley, and Sharon Marley Prendergast, and later in the movie by Maria McDonald.
