The intermediate player will be challenged by this piano transcription of Faure's song.  The player should become acquainted with the original vocal/piano form composed by Faure'  before attempting to play this arrangment. Pedalling is largely left up to the player and some phrasing suggestions appear . It is a beautiful tune about a person having a wonderful dream and feeling  disappointment upon learning that the dream was not real. The player in this recording is an 81 year old piano student (Ms. Faith Mcluskey)  who is playing on her brand new piano:)
