Product Description

A Schottisch (pronounced sha-dish) is a partnered country dance of German origin and was very popular during the Victorian era. 

Composed in 2/4 time and is known for including a hop at the end of the melodic phrase.

This adaptation of a piano piece by Stephen Foster is in the key of
C to F, uses hooked bows, sixteenth notes, dotted eighth-sixteenth and double stops in the upper strings.
