Chaminade Concertino has remained one of the most popular pieces in the flute repertoire to date. Suitable for advanced players, the Concertino Opus 107 (originally for flute and orchestra) has been arranged for flute and piano reduction. Written in 1902 for the Paris Conservatoire Concours, this concertino in D Major contains beautiful romantic, melodic lines with sparkling technical passages. This piece is suitable for recitals, competitions and auditions. In this version, the composition was arranged for Flute and Concert Band by Harry Walker.
