This arrangement is an intermediate level adaptation for string quartet of the Minuet in G major, BWV Anh. 114. The baroque composer Christian Petzold composed the work for solo harpsichord and the piece was attributed to Johann Sebastian Bach in the Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach.

This piece is a traditional piece of the classical piano repertoire for beginners. It is also recurrent in film and TV soundtracks. The arrangement is quite suitable for weddings. The arrangement features the melody in the first violin. The second violin and viola play notes that fill the harmony and dialogues with the main melody. The violoncello plays a bass line. Individual parts are attached to the end of the file.
