Part of the "Clock Series" for Beginning Band solo/ensembles. A simple duet available and flexible for use with all instruments using just the first 7 notes. Rhythms include only quarter, half, whole notes/rests and unison rhythms with a few solo measures as well. This is a great confidence builder that will build confidence with your young students. There are no dynamic, articulation or other music detail markings and students/directors are encouraged to create their own music details as part of the creativity curriculum standards and the next step or challenge in learning this duet.
Special Note on French Horn duet: This arrangement is in the same concert pitch as all other instruments, but many beginning French Horn players can not hit these notes. It is suggested that beginning French Horn students use the Trumpet version of this duet together if they can not hit the higher notes in this Bb concert arrangement.
