The famous aria has been arranged for clarinet choir (four B-flat clarinet parts, one bass clarinet part, one contra-alto and/or one contra-bass clarinet. The contra parts are identical and written to sound one octave lower than the bass part. The key is D major for the clarinets, bass, and contra-bass and A major for the contra-alto. The highest note is clarion G.
