Solo Cello Sonata is an advanced-level piece with expressive phrasing, dynamic contrasts, and a mix of modern and western-traditional harmonies. Duration: circa 12 minutes . Inspired by Kodály, Cassadó, J.S. Bach.

This piece was written after the death of Maria Cristina Fasolo (1950-2019), my mother. And the music was very influenced by the deep feelings about this. My Mother lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, while I lived in The Hague. We could not see each other during her process and her final departure from her. I dedicate the piece to her.
