This song was written from my Reception Classes at my primary school to help them to celebrate Chinese New Year (Lunar) and learn about the animals that traditionally took place in the race. It is said the animals in the zodiac race were set off across the river by the Jade Emperor and only 12 finished the race. The cat came in 13th and was left out!
