Derricks (not to be confused with the actor) was a 20th Century African-American hyminist and pastor from Tennessee. This piece fetures the bass/tuba. Section A presents the verse. Section B is the chorus. There is a modualtion to a new key with the aid of an Italian augmented sixth chord. Section C is the hymn in the new key with a descant added by yours truly.
