"Keep Me in Your Heart" is the final track on singer-songwriter Warren Zevon's last album, The Wind, which he recorded shortly after a diagnosis of lung cancer. Zevon passed away on September 7, 2003, two weeks after the album was released. Co-written by Zevon and bass guitarist Jorge Calderón, this bittersweet song received two Grammy nominations, and the album won in the category of Best Contemporary Folk Album.
