An SAB art song setting of Harmony Harrison's poem, "Shadows." Two minutes. With cello (or any other suitable instrument) and harp or piano. The instrument part is integral to the piece, and is included with the score. (A version with flute/soprano instrument is also available.) Quick study, yet subtle layers of meaning. Sample mp3 is a MIDI rendition from the score, and uses instruments for the vocal lines.
