Product Description

A Little Pink Rose is a piano solo arrangement of the 1912 hit pop song by Carrie Jacobs-Bond, which was originally a ballad for voice and piano. I took this beautiful 10 bar melody and put a very simple left hand accompaniment of slowly descending scale notes which in the next phrase I harmonize into 2 note chords. For the second verse I place the melody in the Left Hand and create tight 3 note chords in the Right Hand. The ending section has gently pulsing LH chords under the simple melody, and it concludes freely and emotionally. The whole song is then repeated.
