Product Description

1. Viheula tuning to guitar tuning arrangement so some pitches, fingerings, positions, etc... had to be altered. So if you are looking for an exact historical version, this is not for you. This is more for someone who does not want to retune during a performance to viheula tuning and then have to tune back. Only 4 measures were altered slightly to make more sense on a modern guitar.
2. Guitar Tab added.
3. Letter names to notes added.
4. A small amount of fingering and bar suggestions added, especially in passages where it is preferable to have the arranger warn you about a passage that is awkard to play.
5. Some slurs added but the performer can add as many as they like. Slurs are only at obvious and easy to perform places.
6. Overly complicated ties were removed. Beginners often incorrectly play tied notes twice but it really just shows sustain. I kept some ties, especially in cases where it helps to have a reminder to sustain in order to sound more antiquated.
7. Since this music's style originates from vocal music, stem direction sometimes shows soprano, alto, tenor, and bass voices.
8. I engraved it to be no more than 3 pages so that it is logistically more feasible to perform with this version (4 pages struggles to fit on a typical music stand).
