Product Description

Scored for 2 Altos, Tenor and Baritone Saxophones, there are Alternative Parts for Alto 3 and 4 so that the piece can be played by four Altos. This is especially useful for teachers of groups of like instruments. Whilst the piece is marked easy, the first part may present a challenge to inexperienced players. The other parts are easy.

Rustic Dance was composed by C.R. (Cyrus Ryerson) Howell (1857-?), a Canadian minister, artist and musician and was first published by the De Luxe Music Company of New York in 1900. It has been described as a quirky country-dance style piece.  It was used in a scene in the 1962 film The Music Man.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
