"What a friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear!"

This is a meditative piano arrangement of two well-known hymns that reflect on God's loving care for us as His children. Instead of worrying or being afraid, He wants us to trust in Him. It begins with "What a Friend," then transitions to the second hymn, "Day by Day" in a new key with some gentle syncopation and flowing sixteenth note arpeggios. It returns to a final stanza of "What a Friend" with RH runs and a soaring melody line. (The score includes the lyrics to the hymns so you can reflect on the words as you play.)

This piece is suitable for the advanced pianist for church offertories or piano recitals.
