See We Assemble is from the Chorus of Cold People in Henry Purcell's opera, King Arthur. Every note in the song is sung staccato and as if shaking from cold. This edition by Dr. Jay Dougherty preserves Purcell's original voice and string parts, but realizes the basso continuo for easy piano or harpsichord playing. There are also optional intro and postlude repeats to allow for entering and exiting stage if desired. This edition includes the full score as well as the individual string quartet parts.
