This is a pastorale on the delightful Christmas carol Quem Pastores. The tune is presented 3 times: in F major, in C major and again in F major with variation. The feet play pedal point throughout the piece. The dance-like refrain helps to connect the sections of this pastorale. This composition will be very effective in liturgical organ playing and recital programs if played on 4' flute registration.
