Product Description

This work was composed originally to be performed by two performers--soprano voice doubling on tuba and piano. I composed it for a vocal performance major at Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri who could also play tuba. The attached recording is her performance of the piece. Since there aren't many performers who can sing soprano and play the tuba, the piece can also be done with three performers. The piece begins with a play on the opening motive from Mozart's "Tuba Mirum." That motive also ends the piece.
