Product Description

"Unwabu the Chameleon" is the second in a series of fifteen original contemporary compositions for piano, titled "15 Animal Compositions for Piano" and created to musically describe the movement and habits of specific wildlife creatures. From music notes to words: "Somewhere in South Africa, Unwabu the chameleon sits wide awake on top of a broken tree trunk, pretending that he is fast asleep. Waiting patiently, he listens to the sounds of insects approaching him; and when a fat, juicy worm passes in front of him, he catches it with his long, sticky tongue in the blink of an eye. He enjoys chewing it, tasting every tiny bit and spitting out the not-so-delicious parts; then he sits motionless again, digesting his rich meal. Having filled his tummy with great satisfaction, he starts a boogie dance on the tree trunk, enjoying it to the full while his whole body is swaying to the rhythm of the music."
