"Bound for South Australia" is a traditional sea shanty first published in 1888; it is also known as "South Australia" or "Rolling King". It was originally sung by people in several trades who worked on the clipper ships which sailed regularly between England and Australia in the 19th century. This song has now become very popular being widely performed by folk musicians on TV, radio, music festivals, etc.
