Arirang () is a popular folk song in both North and South Korea. It is estimated to be more than 600 years old. There are about 3,600 variations of 60 different versions of the song. This arrangement juxtaposes a refrain in a different time signature (4/4) which is then played against the original tune in its original time (3/4).
