Product Description

Three polyphonic ricercars (published 1559) by Adrian Willaert, maestro di cappella of St. Marks in Venice. Adapted for ATB recorders. Masterful harmony and counterpoint, but parts are not difficult. Key signatures of C and F major, and few accidentals. Easy-to-read scores and individual parts. Conduct at a workshop or meeting, or perform in ensemble without a conductor. This set is also available for SAT recorders. Also offered is a set of four, shorter ricercars for SAT and ATB recorders.
