This SATB chorale setting of the classic Christmas carol "Es Ist Ein Rose Entpsrungen" (English: "Lo, how a rose e'er blooming") is done in the style of baroque composers such as J. S. Bach and is a very traditional setting of Praetorius' melody from 1609. This arrangement is fairly easy and should be appropriate for a wide range of skill levels, including school settings.
