Product Description

This exuberant organ work is based on the "Old Hundredth" hymn tune, the text of which is often "Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow", "All People That on Earth Do Dwell", along with many others. Sometimes it is also called the "Doxology" since it mentions the triune God. I wrote this to celebrate the new organ at St. John's United Church of Christ in Smithton, Illinois, where my former student Jordan Provost is the organist. It was written and recorded here on a two manual instrument. It would work as a prelude, a postlude, a recital work, or as a hymn introduction, since it ends in G major, the key most often used for this hymn. I hope you enjoy playing it!
