This hymn was written by a Spanish priest. The lyrics were translated into English by Robert Trupia. The Spanish title is Pescador de Hombres (Fisher of Men). The lyrics describe the calling of Andrew by Christ to become an Apostle. St. Andrew and his brothers were fisherman on the Sea of Galilee. Polish composer, Henryk Gorecki, orchestrated it for choir and a single boy singer. The name he gave it was the Barque(the Boat).
