An arrangement for solo piano of East of the Sun (and West of the Moon) mostly in a medium swing tempo. Performance duration is about 4 minutes. The song is presented using straight 8th notes in bars 1 to 32 followed by an extensive exploration using swinging 8th notes from bars 33 to 130. The tempo slows a little for bars 131 to 145 where straight 8th notes are again used. Much use of syncopation and modern jazz chord voicings is used throughout.
