"Good King Wenceslas" is a Christmas carol that tells a story of a Bohemian king who goes on a journey, braving harsh winter weather, to give alms to a poor peasant on the Feast of Stephen (December 26, the Second Day of Christmas). This arrangement is a gentler, flowing arrangement of the famous carol, and features the cello on the second verse of the song. As with all of our string trio arrangements, the middle part is included in both treble and alto clef giving you the freedom of performing it with either two violins and cello OR violin, viola and cello.
