It can be performed with or without the duet, which is written mostly in octaves. It can also be performed very effectively with just guitar. The piano transcription is mostly at the intermediate level and the vocal range for the solo in this version is between a low E (below middle C) to a mid-A. It can easily be transposed up a key or two, depending on the singer.
