Product Description

The Crusader's Hymn (Violin & Piano Duet) Piano Accompaniment/Rehearsal Track

The Crusader's Hymn is also known as Fairest Lord Jesus and Beautiful Savior. This beautiful, flowing duet is great for the Easter season, Christmas, or General Worship. The tune is originally a Silesian folk song (1677), and the song and the German text were printed for the first time in 1842 by August Heinrich Hoffmann von Fallersleben and Ernst Richter, named Schönster Herr Jesu (Most Beautiful Lord Jesus).

Written for violin, but may easily be used for any C solo instrument.

  • Easy violin part, great for beginners
  • Late Intermediate level accompaniment
  • Excellent for preludes, offertories, or solos/duets
  • Some original material laced with the traditional hymn
  • Chords included for additional instruments, if desired
  • May be used with any C instrument
  • Text included
