Product Description

11 Little Pieces for Violin by Adrian Sutcliffe. NB These recordings are a professional demonstration with both violin and piano parts. Accompaniment alone is available separately.

Eleven Little Pieces is a set of pieces which are great fun to play for children in the earlier stages of violin playing. As a rough guideline they are pitched between Grades 1 and 2 ABRSM level and they are especially attractive when played with the straightforward piano parts provided. So enjoy the pieces - and have fun meeting your new violin friend, Vernon...!

Adrian Sutcliffe studied at the Royal Academy of Music. He has performed at most major concert halls in the UK and recorded for national radio and TV, whilst playing in shows in the West End and at the Royal Opera House. As a performer, teacher, composer, examiner and trainer for ABRSM, he has worked all over the world. His pieces have been broadcast on UK radio andTV and played at many UK theatres, such as Sadlers Wells and Her Majestys Theatre. He is the regular arranger for several ensembles, including his own trio, Classic Rhythm, and his many dance compositions are promoted by the ballet music company, DanceInspire. His work includes three narrated musical stories for children as well as descriptive music for plays, jazz pieces, orchestral scores, songs, and various piano and chamber works.
