The 24 Études adopt all of the above-mentioned practices and styles and utilize three or
more of these techniques at a time. They are short in duration (one or two pages long) and
were composed primarily from an aesthetic point of view (to please the ear).
I composed them as a modest contribution to the repertoire of the instrument and as a
personal professional development as a teacher and composer as well. The 24 Guitar
Etudes could serve as an extra class material for analysis and demonstration and of course
as an additional assistance for developing the classical guitar technique itself.
