"No Matter What" is composed by Peter Ham, and arranged for AATTB or AAATB saxophone quintet by Cheryl Woldseth. It was the rock group Badfinger's first song to reached a top 10 hit with its power pop sound.

Each sax part is fun to play, and requires good rhythmic skills. The melody is primarily shared between Alto 1 and Alto 2, with Tenor 2 stealing the lead for a bit too. Tenor 1 plays the counter melodies, and the Baritone holds it all together with a strong rock bass line.
