Product Description

Secret Garden is an Irish-Norwegian duo consisting of violinist Fionnuala Sherry and composer, arranger and pianist Rolf Løvland, the latter giving the country its first win a decade earlier in Gothenburg. Fairytales is the debut studio album by Norwegian singer Alexander Rybak. This first work is released May 29, 2009in Norway and most European countries. Much of the lyrics and music on this album were written and / or composed by Alexander Rybak himself. He is also behind the Russian and French adaptations of his first single Fairytale, featured on the album, as well as a song in Norwegian. The first single of this work entitled Fairytale is the winning song of the Eurovision Song Contest 2009. Rybak's performance then allowed him to break the all-time competition record held by Finnish rock group Lordi by 95 points and thus win the final hands-down with a score of 387 points. It should be noted that all the voting countries (except Norway of course) have awarded points to this song.
