Years ago, a dear friend passed away. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, the Korean conflict, and the Vietnam war. After he died, I asked the family if I might compose a piece in honor of him. This is that piece. This would be appropriate for a Memorial Day setting, Veteran's Day, or anything to do with our armed forces. It is a fairly easy piece and would not take a lot of work to perform.
