"Come Fly with Me", is a 1958 popular song composed by Jimmy Van Heusen, with lyrics by Sammy Cahn, written for Frank Sinatra - it was the title track of his 1958 album of the same name. The song sets the tone for the rest of the album, describing adventures in exotic locales, in Bombay, Peru and Acapulco Bay as the Jet Age began. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used many of our arrangements, but we've also included a really cool left-hand walking baseline to keep the tempo going! We hope you like this arrangement of a fantastic tune!
