This "23" is essentially the same underlying music composition as the Shag Evans "Psalm 23" but re-titled to mark the much more modern arrangement. The A300 features pulsing keyboard parts (rock organs & synth) and a "stately march" tempo. Works well as ecumenical music for Holy Week/Easter. Great piece for any house of worship. The famous text biblical Psalm 23 (A Song of David) is filled with poetic lines most will recognize, and I tried to fit them all in the lyrics here. The main keyboard part is fairly simple (but the guitar chords are a little trickier). Key of F means mezzo or lower baritone vocal range. Lead vocal note span: C-C low --> high (single octave).
