This big band arrangement of John Lewis' classic bop tune features a trio, making a "band within the band", of Trumpet 2, Alto Sax 1 and Guitar. The trio plays the head and solo space for each is provided, along with a chance to show off the trumpet after a sax section soli. All brass parts are generally written in a comfortable range, although Trumpet 1 requires a written Eb6.
